Career opportunities in Drawing

Dear Parents,

Why drawing and why kids should be taught the skill in school and why the Drawing Grade Examinations are important ?.

Drawing is one of the most important activity for your kids. The connection between drawing and geometric shapes and measurements simply cannot be denied. Drawing is the single most accessible form of art available. All you need is a pencil and a paper.

Drawing means they are constantly thinking or feeling something, so what they choose to draw, the patterns they use, and the story they try to portray helps them build in their knowledge and visual skills.  Drawing plays a big role in our cognitive development. It can help us learn to write and think creatively, develop hand-eye co-ordination, hone analytic skills, and conceptualize ideas. To clear their minds and organize their ideas, artists will often start projects by drawing sketches. Drawing helps to stimulate creative thought, increase observational skills and of course, develop visual artwork ideas in all mediums.  Technical drawing is important for communication. Because it helps companies or companies to visualize the concepts in an easier way.

Drawing Grade examinations were instituted in the year 1880, in the old Bombay Presidency for the purpose of encouragement and development of art education, which held in two categories, i.e. Elementary & Intermediate. These examinations are conducted annually by Govt. of Maharashtra. Around 4,00,000 students will appearing for it every year. Govt. also awarded the credit marks in S.S.C. examinations, for passing Intermediate Drawing Grade examination. These examinations are specially supportive or preferred for further admissions to various Govt. institutes/Art colleges and other different Technical colleges as detailed below to grab golden opportunities.
